It may therefore take quite some time before the insurer pays out the amount. In the event of death resulting from an accident, a payout is made promptly.
What if a dispute arises regarding the circumstances of the damage?
After an accident, it can take years for the claims settlement process to be completed—especially if the accident also resulted in injuries. The payout from passenger accident insurance does not depend on who was at fault. As soon as permanent disability is determined, a payout is made. The same applies to the payout in the event of the death of one of the passengers.
