Garage Damage Guarantee

Has your car been damaged? Then, of course, you’ll want to take it to a repair shop as soon as possible so it can be fixed. You can have your car repaired at any repair shop. However, insurance companies recommend that you always have the work done by certified auto body shops. Agreements have been made with these Schadegarant-certified repair shops regarding the method, duration, and cost of the repair. In addition, you’ll pay a lower deductible, won’t have to pay the costs upfront, and will receive a warranty on the repair.

Damage Guarantee Company

Schadegarant has approximately 2,600 affiliated auto repair shops. If your car is damaged, you can go to your local repair shop, but always check with your insurer first. If your insurer has an agreement with Schadegarant, it’s best to go to an affiliated repair shop. If you go to a non-affiliated shop, it could cost you money. At an affiliated repair shop, you’ll receive a discount on your deductible and are entitled to free rental cars. Your insurer can help you with the claim and inform you about the next steps.
