"Helping people who are forced to fight a battle every day"
Dennis explains:
"Before I started boxing I did many sports. The last one was mountain biking and cycling. Although I love this, I notice (now) that this is a pretty one-sided sport. Basically, only the legs are in motion and you are constantly doing repetitive movements."
"Boxing I somewhat underestimated. This is a versatile sport that involves much more than just hitting hard. You are busy punching, dodging, the position of your legs and trying to see through your opponent's plan of attack. Taking it easy for a moment is out of the question because your opponent will take the initiative. Boxing is also called fist fighting. A great experience!"
"November 25 is slowly but surely getting very close. Together with team red and blue we will do everything we can to make it an attractive match during the Boxing Gala in Roermond. In addition, I hope that the sponsorship money we box together will help people who (for whatever reason) are forced to "put up a fight" every day.
It would be great if we could provide additional support to both charities; the Food Bank and the Friends of Laurentius Foundation."
