Local heroes in limelight on Entrepreneur's Day
At Alpina, we are proud of our local business owners. From the barber to the coffee bar, and the florist to the baker - they are indispensable in creating vital cities and towns.
Reason enough to put our local heroes in the spotlight during the Day of the Entrepreneur. We did this by placing a call on Facebook from our local offices where everyone could nominate their favorite entrepreneur.
Then our advisors pulled there - from Lemmer to Roerdalen and from Westland to Bocholtz - out to surprise surprise our entrepreneurs with a delicious cake from the local bakery.
More than 17 years of experience as a florist
One of the notable entrepreneurs we highlighted is Miranda, the creative force behind The Bloomerie. For over 17 years a familiar face in Sint Odiliënberg. Her business, offering fresh flower creations directly from the grower, has earned her a special mention.

The Langestreek accompanies you from advice to execution
Another notable business that attracted attention is Woninginrichting De Langestreek in Lemmer. With wonderful nominations from grateful customers, we highlighted this home furnishing store for its excellent service and expert advice in creating a stylish and comfortable home environment.

She knew at an early age that she wanted to be a hairdresser
Also pulled on our advisor Frans to Hair Salon De Brandsquelle to surprise owner Joyce with a tasty treat. The authentic bar in her hair salon, a relic from the days when it served as a café, became the perfect setting for sharing treats.
