We have collected the 5 most beautiful routes through Europe for you. To prevent your fun from being ruined by breakdowns on the road, we also give you tips on how to properly and safely traverse the most beautiful places in Europe.

The Troll Route in Norway

Norway as a country should not be missing in a list of most beautiful countries to ride through by motorcycle. During the ride, you won't know where to look. The Troll Route is 20 kilometers long and is an alternation of fjords you drive through and rock walls you drive over. On the rock walls you will have a beautiful view of the fjords with the varied vegetation and a narrow stream at the bottom of the fjord. The main prize doesn't come until the end point. Here you have a picture-perfect view of much of the route. Definitely recommended.

The Stelvio Pass in Italy

From Norway we go to Italy near the border with Switzerland. Here lies the Stelvio Pass. It is not an easy route to ride by motorcycle, but the experienced and well prepared motorcyclists will certainly succeed. Be sure to bring appropriate clothing, because it can be quite cold. The route runs over a mountain of almost 3,000 meters high. This route is also about 20 kilometers long. The views are amazing. This pass is not open all year, but starting in May, you can enjoy perhaps the most beautiful thing Europe has to offer on a motorcycle until after summer.

Transfagarasan in Romania

Riding a motorcycle to Romania is probably not the first destination you think of, but it is a tucked-away part of Europe that is definitely worth the effort. During the summer months, you can traverse the 90-kilometer route with endless hairpin turns on a motorcycle. What motorcyclists are very enthusiastic about is the quality of the asphalt. This is often disappointing on many of the other popular routes. The route passes through a mountainous area with the most beautiful views.

Sa Calobra on Mallorca

Mallorca is an island where you do not go easily with your motorcycle, but locally you can of course rent a motorcycle. This is a part of Mallorca where you are not yet trampled by tourists. With the many rock formations and the height variations in the roads, it is well worth the effort. On the higher roads you have views of the sea. In this area there are several routes to try out.

Silvretta in Austria

A road through the Alps. That must be the setting for a beautiful stretch of road, and it is. It is very green and you go there for real motorcycling. The road hardly consists of straight stretches. You wind from left to right through the landscape. One drawback is that it is a toll road, so you have to pay for it. In winter you can ski in the area and in summer it is the domain for motorcyclists.

Tips before hitting the road:

- Purchase roadside assistance for Europe to supplement your motorcycle insurance. This is often cheaper than a separate roadside assistance service.
- Plan your route at home. Also study the region. Possibly a route is closed during your vacation.
- What are the obligations abroad? For example, is it mandatory to carry a safety vest?
- Have the bike fully checked beforehand. Breakdown on the road can be a stain on the vacation.
