Diks insurance becomes first Alpina on Oct. 1

Alpina Group, renowned specialist in financial services in the Netherlands and Belgium launches the new Alpina brand on October 1. All brokerage and advisory services in the areas of insurance, mortgages, financial planning, pensions and brokerage will be migrated to this new brand in phases. Diks, online provider of insurance, will be the first to transfer to Alpina on October 1. In the near future, the brands for health and safety services and service provision for advisors will also be announced.

The launch of Alpina follows the merger of the Voogd & Voogd Group and the Heilbron Group> in June 2021. Michael de Nijs, CEO of Alpina Group, said, "I am very happy that we can launch this new brand now, although I realize that both customers and employees are used to the current brands. However, it makes sense to make the most of the enormous potential created by the merger. We will do this by migrating the wonderful businesses in the range of financial intermediation and advisory services to Alpina in phases, as part of Alpina Group. In this way, we will soon be able to offer a total package and customized services even more than ever before."

Migration

The transition to the Alpina customer brand will not happen overnight. The migration of the more than 50 offices will start on Oct. 1 and, as it looks now, will run until the end of 2023. "Even before the merger, we had the desire to further expand and professionalize our services and products," says Bas van Twillert, commercial director. "Now is the time when, with the launch of Alpina, we can optimize our offering for both individuals and companies and serve our customers even better. We do this both online and offline, with the customer's choice and desire always leading the way. Customers may initially miss a familiar name, but they get a wider range in return. And what is certainly not going to change is expert personal service."

Diks Insurance is - on October 1 - the first to switch to Alpina, available at www.alpina.nl. Marc Diks, owner of Diks Insurance and Director Online at Alpina Group: "I am proud that 'my' Diks is the first to switch to the Alpina brand. Of course also with a double feeling because the company my father built up no longer bears his name. To say goodbye to this name and raise the Alpina flag, we have therefore planned a nice day with all Diks employees.
